• Can I use this Glow SPF without a moisturiser? + —
  While this SPF Glow product contains moisturising properties, it won't be enough to hydrate the skin alone. We recommend that you apply a moisturiser underneath.
• Should it be applied before or after moisturiser? + —
  SPF should be the final step in your skincare routine. It is best to apply your moisturiser first and layer your SPF over the top.
• Can I apply make-up over British Summer Time Glow, will it still work? + —
  Yes, it will still give you all the protection you need – just with an added glow! It works well as a primer too.
• Is this suitable during pregnancy? + —
  Yes.
• Is the SPF water resistant? + —
  No. You will need to reapply our SPF after any exposure to water.
• Is it reef-safe? + —
  Yes, we use Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, a mineral filter.
• I have acne-prone skin, will this SPF be suitable? + —
  Yes. Our British Summer Time Glow is a non-greasy formula, suited to all skin types.
• I have rosacea, will this SPF be suitable? + —
  Yes! We use natural non-nano Zinc Oxide – a mineral sunscreen filter – which is better tolerated by sensitive and rosacea-prone skin than chemical filters. It acts as a physical shield against the sun's rays, without irritating hypersensitive skin.
• What shade of The Impossible Glow is used to make British Summer Time Glow? + —
  We haven't used a particular shade from our Impossible Glow drops. We've used the Mica to add a luminous glow designed to suit all skin tones.
• How is the Mica ethically sourced? + —
  We use natural Mica sourced from a manufacturer that is a member of The Responsible Mica Initiative – a global coalition for action, committed to establishing a fair, responsible and sustainable Mica supply chain.
• Can I still use The Impossible Glow with the British Summer Time Glow? + —
  Yes, of course! You can mix more into your moisturiser for a double glow, or apply over the top of the SPF as a hydrating highlighter. This 2-in-1 sunscreen gives you an all-over instant luminosity, but you can use your glow drops for different shades and a more intense colour.
• Can I wear foundation over the top? + —
  Yes – think of this as your sunscreen and illuminating primer combined. In our independent trials, 88% agreed it works well as a smooth, even base*. Follow with your foundation as you would usually – or even go without if the healthy glow finish is enough! *One week independent consumer trial on 103 subjects
• Is it suitable for all skin tones? + —
  Our formula uses natural pearlescent pigments to add luminosity – rather than a tint – to the skin, so it has been designed as a universal glow for all skin tones. In independent trials, 86% agreed the shade works well with their skin tone*.   No, this formula is fragrance-free.
• What's behind the name? + —
  You can't rely on the British weather for radiant skin. But you can rely on us. An evolution of the our game-changing sunscreen for sensitive skin – now with added glow.
• Why is it SPF30 and not SPF50? + —
  In order for us to formulate to a certified COSMOS standard, we have to use non-nano mineral filters. When used in high amounts, this can cause a chalky white cast on the skin. We wanted to balance wearability with our certifications – to bring you a sunscreen with a finish you'd love to wear every day – so we formulated an SPF30. But rest assured, SPF30 delivers almost 97% protection vs SPF50’s 98% protection from UV rays. And as for SPF50, our in-house chemists are always looking for new technology to evolve our products – so watch this space…
• How do I choose between the original British Summer Time SPF and British Summer Time Glow? + —
  It all depends on your preferred finish, and where you prefer to add glow in your routine! Our original mineral sunscreen offers broad spectrum protection with a non-greasy finish. British Summer Time Glow SPF30 is a hybrid product, giving you the same protection with instant radiance built in. It's also fragrance free.
• How much should I apply and how often? + —
  We recommend applying two fingertips' worth of product to cover your face and neck, at least 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply regularly throughout the day, especially after contact with water.
